Happy International Lace Day!

That's the greeting the wonderful folks over at Shadowline Lingerie greeted with me with this morning.  What a way for a sissy to start her day!  Instead of my pink Ravissant panties I opted for something a little lacier and slipped into some pink VF Lace Nouveau's, which by the way aren't available anymore.  Here's what the folks had to say about this special day...

If I were to give my own review of the "Perfectly Yours Ravissant" panty by Vanity Fair, I'd be much more effusive than my "sister" Donna.  But don't just take my word for it, here are a few reviews from friends and other sissy acquaintances...

The Sissy Curtsey

The first time I was made to curtsey in front of someone was when Diane made me do it in front of Her.  Dressed in a little girls dress we'd purchased online from the JC Penney catalog in a "Girls Plus" size with a petticoat and ruffled panties, I curtsied over and over until She thought I got it right.   It was a little embarrassing even though She was the only one who saw me do it.

My embarrassment would increase in intensity as time went on as i was made to curtsey in the presence of others at a fetish party, then in front of Her best friend Linda and eventually in front of Her Alpha Lover.  All of these were very humbling experiences.  

The curtsdy has a long history.  In Victorian courts it was often seen as a signal of a young girl or woman being "available" for courtship.  It also became a symbol of submissiveness.  As "Miss Manners" describes puts it, the curtsdy is a "traditional gesture of an inferior to a superior."

The Missing Sissy

Many bloggers have a way of disappearing.  If not forever, some for an extended period of time.  My own blog has been rather dormant at times and that of my Mistress' "To Love Honor & Obey" had its own dark period.  

But when a blog that's been one of my favorites just disappears I get a little worried and just hope that the author is okay.  This happened just a few days ago when the blog "Saragirl's Sissy Confessions" ceased to exist.  Clicking on the link I had gave me the message that the blog had been removed.

I do hope the author is ok.  I'll miss the blog and Sara's work.

Washing Their Panties

Labor Day used to always symbolize the end of summer for me when I was a kid.  School never started until after the holiday.  It was a clear separation from the wild freedom of summer and the stricter routine of the school year.  As you get older, that separation of summer vacation and the school year gets increasingly blurred and vague.

In this part of the country, the school year actually starts in early August.   I don't think there are many school districts that wait for Labor Day to start their years.  There's no cooler weather where we are either.  We are still routinely hitting 100 degrees every day.  We just returned from some somewhat cooler weather by the ocean, but there's no real relief in sight for a drop in temperatures.

Vacations always mean that when I get back home, there's a pile, or two..or sometimes even three...of dainty delicates that need hand washing.  Diane's best friend Linda accompanied us on our getaway.  She's fully aware of our lifestyle and isn't shy about taking advantage of the services and duties a sissy wife like me can provide.

That's where the third pile of "dainty delicates" comes from.  I'll be hand washing Linda's lingerie today and delivering it to her either tomorrow or Friday. 

I hope I am "up" for the task!
