Just Pink & Only Pink

Mistress Diane's Directive's (MDD's) are more like official decrees than they are simple everyday orders or lists of things to do.  They're often the result of some situation or behavior of mine that She feels needs to be addressed.  Other times, they come out of nowhere, out of the clear blue so to speak or in this case...somewhere out of the pink.

A couple of months ago Mistress decided that effective immediately, i could only wear pink colored panties.  She didn't want to see anything else in my panty drawer.  i didn't have to throw all my other pretty pastels, floral patterned or non-pink panties away, I just had to store them in a bin in our closet "for possible future use."

Now trust me when i say this, i already had plenty of pink panties.  However, if i was going to have to wear pink every day, i thought i could probably use a few more.  She gave me permission to buy some modest, granny style panties.  

my choice?  The Dixie Belle Scallop Trim High Waist Full Coverage Panty!

The simple but feminine panty is actually "pinker" than how it appears in the photo.  They're made by "Shadowline Lingerie" but i bought them on Amazon.  They kind of run a little big so you may want to take that into consideration.  For some granny style panties i feel comfortable in a size 7 but for this on, a size 6 fits me perfectly!

Bra Shopping

Diane gave me permission to but a couple of new bras.  The permission came with some restrictions.  First, She doesn't want me buying anything that's "overly sissy."  Before I could ask Her to be more specific She'd already added "you know what I mean."  I'm quite I do know. She wants me to buy something more for everyday use that's simple but feminine.

Second, I have to get Her permission before making the purchase.  Fair enough.  Her oversight of these types of processes or purchases is part of our lifestyle and quite frankly, is far more desirable than if She were indifferent.

I think I'm going to opt for a couple of bras from Vanity Fair.  They're good quality, comfortable and feminine enough to satisfy my girly needs.  Hopefully they'll make a nice addition to my sissy closet 😊

I've sent Her my request via text and email and hope She responds in the affirmative so that I can make the purchase today.

Simple Femininity & Cuckolding

Today's post is kind of a follow-up on a couple of things.  Last week in "The Sissy Sisterhood" I commented on how the emails I received from various lingerie retailers and online shops made me feel so feminine.  That's especially true about the ones from the people at Her Room.  Some of their emails just brighten my day.  They have a way of doing so with a lovely combination of graphics and catch-phrases.

The second item deals with yesterday's post,  The Cuckold's Panties.  What might have appeared as another piece of sissy 'flash fiction' about the humiliation of a sissy cuckold in front of his wife's Alpha lover was actually a writing assignment handed to me by my Mistress-Wife Diane.  i had originally wanted to post something pointing out that Saturday had actually been National Dress Day but, Mistress had other ideas.

The assignment was somewhat vague yet specific enough to focus on one particular part of our lifestyle.  "Approach the situation from three different viewpoints" She told me.  "Mine, Karl's (Her lover) and yours.  Start with yours, then go from there.  Try to piece together what Karl and me are thinking."  

She didn't give me any deadline or how many parts to the story She would like.  She did tell me She would go back and read them with Karl and I may be asked to make edits along the way.  They haven't read Sunday's post yet so I haven't gotten any feedback.  Stay tuned.  This may be challenging for me.

The Sissy Sisterhood

For many of "us", enjoying our femininity goes beyond just wearing pretty things.  Our earliest years of exploration with this fetish or fantasy often began with the feeling associated with a simple pair of panties.  Over time, our repertoire of thrill-inducing lingerie, hosiery, shapewear, dresses and other garments and accessories continued to grow.

Every morning and throughout the day, my inbox has several promotional emails from on like shopping sites like Her Room (my favorite), Rago, Bali, Jockey and other lingerie sites that I've signed up with to receive promotional emails.  The emails usually feature items that are on sale with promotional codes you can use on your purchases.  If I've bought something from them before the messages are often more personalized,  making me feel even more girly!

I can't tell you how special it made me feel to be part of a "Sisterhood!"   And yes, as soon as I get permission from Diane, I'll be buying some of those "Lace Desire" panties.  Just not in black!

There are times however that the personalization gets a little too close for comfort.  Several years ago I received a postcard via snail mail addressed to me from Victoria's Secret.  It informed me that since I'd already purchased two bras, I only had to purchase one more to get the fourth one free!  The letter carrier at the time was a woman.  I often wondered if she noticed it and wondered what she must have thought.

And yes, of course I bought that third bra.  Wouldn't you have?

Sissy Shopping

The pandemic has put a damper on a lot of things.  For us, it's cancelled a couple of vacations where I might have even had an opportunity to go out shopping with Mistress dressed "en femme."  Instead, I believe all my shopping for feminine things has taken place online.

I hoped to god that wasn’t Madeline. I could feel my heart fluttering as I approached. Forty-something, brunette, stylishly dressed in a white blouse, black pencil skirt. When I got to the counter, I saw she was wearing calf-high black stiletto boots. I didn’t know if I could get the words out…

“M,Madeline. I, I’m supposed to ask for Madeline. M,my wife called.”

She smiled, looked me up and down, picked up a phone from the counter, dialed a few digits, stared at me for a few seconds while she waited for someone to pick up. I looked away, glanced behind me. A woman stood there holding two bras on plastic hangers. “Madeline, that husband is here,” she said into the receiver, a smirk on her lips. “Step aside. Wait here. She’ll be right out.”

After a few moments,a smartly dressed blonde women in her sixties approached. She was tall, especially in her heels, nearly as tall as me. My eyes were immediately drawn to her large breasts highlighted by the white lace shell she wore under a tailored teal blazer with matching skirt.

                Madeline: (grinning) “Tom?” I nodded. She motioned me away from the counter, looked me in the eyes. “I had a lovely conversation with Kelly. She told me you’re having trouble with control?”

                Me: Embarrassed at the obvious question in her tone, not sure if I was expected to answer. I looked away, at the floor. Suddenly I felt the scratchy lace of Kelly’s lace panties. Oh no! My dang penis was trying to grow. “I, ah, I’m not sure what she told you. She told me you’d have a list.”

                Madeline: “I do. She was very frank with me, which I appreciated.” She touched my arm. “I see that you are incredibly nervous. I understand that, but this isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve been selling women’s foundations for over twenty-five years. You’re not the first man…” She lowered her voice slightly and leaned closer. I could smell her perfume. Was it Black Optum? “Kelly explained a little about the control problem. I understand.”She smiled, and I felt my penis shrinking, “No woman would want that.”  She turned and I followed her through the maze of racks of panties and bras, her heels clicking against the tile floor, Kelly’s lace panties riding up the crack of my ass.

                Me: Glancing around quickly to see if anyone might be close enough to hear, spotting two women in the next aisle. I couldn’t tell whether they were paying attention. “I, ah, white is okay,” I said as quietly as I could.

                Madeline:  Thrusting it towards me, and making no effort to be discreet, “Hold this one and speak up. Did you say you prefer white or nude?” She reached for another brief. “This one is pretty, has lace trim, and comes in pink. Let’s take one of these for sure.”

                Me: Leaning close so she would hear me, in a near whisper, “Could you just choose for me, whatever you think would be best?”

                Madeline: Smiling, “Well, I am partial to Maidenform when it comes to briefs. And I think it is best that you have variety … the spice of life, don’t you think? So, we’ll get one with lace, one in pink, and the white one you have there. It is extra firm, so that should work for you as far as the control issue she said you were having.”

                Me: She was talking so loudly. Was it on purpose? The women in the aisle nearby were definitely listening. I could see them out of the corner of my eye, hear some hushed conversation, some giggling. I wanted to say something, protest, but how could I?

                Madeline: “Now for the heavy armor,” she said, “The high-waisted girdles are over here. You know women don’t wear them as much as the old days, with Spanx and all, but I still think they do a good job, and for what Kelly explained you need … well …” She smiled sympathetically.

                Me: I followed along, allowed her to select two garments. She handed me everything. I was relieved, believed we were done. Where were those two women?

                Madeline: “We’re almost done,” she said, “Just need to get your panties.”

                Me: “Panties?” I asked, incredulous.

                Madeline: “Oh yes, Kelly and I both agreed. You must wear panties under these girdles. Plus, she told me that you’ve been getting into hers. Is that right?”

                Me: “I, ah, I, ah”

                Madeline: “Don’t be embarrassed. You’d be surprised how many men wear panties. I find the most popular panty for men is the Vanity Fair Perfectly Yours Ravissant. She picked up a pink pair from a table. Here feel the fabric. Men tell me they love the feel of the silky nylon.”

                Me: I reluctantly reached out and touched it. My hand was shaking. I saw the two women
watching just steps behind us.

                Madeline: “We’ll get six of these, and since Kelly said you’ll be wearing panties every day, we’ll get six of the Lace Nouveau because they have the same silky feel but also have these cute little lace panels on the legs…”

Confusing Lingerie Terms

The 7 Most Common (and Confusing!) Lingerie Terms

 

For many of us, the world of lingerie is magical and exciting and empowering. However, it can also be overwhelming. There are so many terms to learn, so much information to know. What exactly does full bust mean? Is it the same as plus size? What about words like luxury? Or handmade? And how does all of this apply to you?

Allow me to pull back the curtain for you! Here's is your quick introduction to seven commonly used lingerie terms, so you'll be better able to find the lingerie that's perfect for you. And if you're looking for reviews or shopping guides, just click the button for each section to read our blog posts from the TLA Archives. 

 Full Busts

Full bust refers to a cup size of DD or above. That DD mark is what's called a "size break," when the pattern and construction of a bra needs to change to support the weight of a heavier bust moving forward. You'll notice that bras for full busts often have features like thicker straps, sturdier fabrics, side slings, and more rigid wires.

Plus Size

 Plus size refers to bra band sizes of 38 or above. Although some plus size bra manufacturers also make 34 or 36 bands, that 38 or 40 band mark is when a bra is usually considered plus size. Plus size bras often feature wider bands, wider straps, and bra cups that are cut to the proportions of a wider body.

Core Size

 If full bust refers to DD+ cups and plus size refers to 38+ bands, then core size refers to band and cup sizes that fall into the "core" or most commonly available group, roughly equating to 32-36 band sizes and B-D cups. Another way to think of core sizes is that they come after small bust (A, AA, AAA cups) and small band (26, 28, 30) sizes but before full bust and plus size. In other words, they're at the center of the size range.

Off The Rack

An off-the-rack or ready to wear garment is one that's premade (or able to be pulled off the rack) in a company's standard size range. This is the model of purchasing clothing most of us are most familiar with. While inconsistencies between brands are a common complaint in ready to wear sizing, those inconsistencies are what allow us to buy any off-the-rack clothing at all. If every company made their garments to a single, standardized chart, most of us would have to purchase custom.

Custom/Made To Order

 A custom or made-to-order garment is one that's been individually made for you, usually in a regularly available style according to your measurements. Sometimes, a garment is completely custom and one-of-a-kind, in which case words like "bespoke" or "couture" may be used instead. Custom or Made-to-Order garments will almost always be more expensive than their equivalent off-the-rack counterparts.

Handmade

All lingerie (with the exception of knit items, like hosiery) is handmade. Whether is a $5 pair of knickers or a $500 bra, human hands sat down to sew it. When the word "handmade" is used in marketing however, it's usually as a way to refer to small, indie designers. That is, one pair of hands made the garment from start to finish (as opposed to the multiple people used on a factory production line). 

Luxury

Luxury is a word that gets used a lot...to the point where it's almost lost its meaning. From my perspective, luxury lingerie uses only the finest fabrics, the most refined sewing techniques, has a remarkable or unique aesthetic, and is often made in small, limited edition batches. Exceptional quality in every respect, from your first encounter with the brand to the last, is the mark of true luxury.
