Dominant Women, particularly Wives in Female Led Marriages develop their own Domme personalities over time. But generally, at a certain level it's derived from their personality types. They more or less fall into several archtypal categories.
Here are two of them to consider on this post-Easter Mature Monday:
The Soft Domme
This Domme tends to focus on a more nurturing style and positive reinforcement. She has a gentler touch but still has plenty of strict rules. She tends to put a focus on after-care or snuggle time after any type of D/s session. Discipline for the Soft Domme rarely includes any physically hurtful punishments. Things like corner time, loss of discipline or calm, thoughtful discussions with their submissives are how they approach transgressions most of the time.
And finally, their "looks" are powerful, but not as menacing as other Dommes.
The Hard Domme
Her's is a far more strict and demanding approach. When you break her rules, expect severe punishment. With the Hard Domme, the power dynamic and exchange is very clear and intense. Sometimes even noticeable to others. Expect harsh commands and impactful punishments. Their authority is absolute and they implement strict protocols.
The Hard Domme's looks are rarely misunderstood.
Fortunately, there are Dominant Wives that rule with a blend of more than one style or archetype. I'm blessed to have one of those as my Wife.
