"You should know better that, unless we have something else on the calendar, and he's around, he'll be coming over on Saturday nights" Diane told me in a rather authoritative tone. "Call them and tell them you won't be there. You've got lots to do."
The foursome I was to be a part of would have to go out as a threesome. I humbly texted the other three and told them I wouldn't be making it today. Two of the three were kind enough to just write back "No worries" and "Ok, see you soon." The other made the comment "What happened? You forget to ask for permission? 😂."
I simply responded with a thumbs up to all three.
"So did you call them?" She asked.
"No, I texted them" I told Her.
"What a baby you are" She said. "Let's get you ready. I have a list of things for you before Karl gets here."
