In the business world CRM is an acronym for Customer Relationship Management. The old adage is that businesses get 80% of their revenue from 20% of their customers. It's a pretty general rule of thumb to expect that. Of course it varies by industry but the point is that to be successful, you have to keep your customers happy.
I recently placed a lingerie order with Wacoal (with Diane's permission of course) and a few days later received a follow up email from the company.
When I get emails like this, it brings a smile to my face and a nice warm feeling of femininity in my soul.

i suspect that your email, like mine, gets cluttered with promotional offers for women's skirts and blouses, lingerie and stockings from shops and boutiques we spend our allowances in (with permission).
