There can be plenty of angst and nervousness involved the first time a cuckold is either made to or invtited to watch their wife and her lover. I can attest to that. I think there's often lots of pre-planning and discussion amongst the wife, lover and sometimes the cuckold before it actually happens. I don't watch Diane and Karl as often as I used to. These days my presence is more to serve a specific purpose, sexual or otherwise, than to just be there as a voyeur.

In a cuckold relationship, some bulls require a healthy dose of convincing before allowing the cuckold to watch. Most women who have affairs, find a lover on the side, etc. aren't necessarily into a cuckold threesome type of thing. Most men who have an affair with married women aren't into it either.
If a wife wants it, she is probably a bit hesitant to bring it up to her lover out of fear it might scare him away. It's a subject that has to be broached carefully and with some preparation.
Once a lover/Bull is accepting of a cuckold "watching" as he makes love to the wife, it still takes time to develop a certain comfort level. A dominant wife isn't likely to ask the cuckold if he's "ready." That's going to be her decision. Once a bull knows the cuckold is submissive, it makes his decision to proceed a bit easier. The more the lover is an Alpha personality the the cuckold a beta, the quicker the process can proceed. No "buy in" from the cuckold is needed.
