Sissy Swimsuit Trends

Summer isn't very far away.  We're already a few days into spring and the temps are definitely rising, particularly here in the desert southwest.  

I thought today might be a good time to start thinking about what I'm going to be wearing around the pool this summer and maybe get some of my readers to start doing the same.

That being said, I found this article online featuring "18+ Hottest Swimsuit Trends for 2020."  I know where in 2021 but let's be honest, 2020 was pretty much a wash when it comes to having fun at the pool and beaches!

The article has several sections to it but this section and some of the swimsuits it featured really caught my eye...

Bridal swimsuits & bikinis

Because most of the couples like to spend their honeymoon on the beach in summer after the wedding to relax and enjoy their time there, there are catchy swimsuits that are specially designed for brides. Those bridal swimsuits tend to be white to suit the bride. They come in just one piece or two pieces to meet different tastes and needs. You can also find several designs such as halter top swimsuits, off-the-shoulder swimsuits, and there are also ribbon decorated swimsuits, crochet swimsuits, lace swimsuits, and much more.

Hmmm...."Designed for brides?", "...to meet different tastes and needs?", "...ribbon decorated swimsuits?" and "lace swimsuits?"

Well, I just had to see them.  And share....

Pretty (Boys) in Pink?

Did you know that....

• ...in the late 19th century boys wore dresses until they were 6 or 7?
• ...pink, blue and other pastel colors for babies didn't arrive until the mid 19th century?
• ...and until the 1940's, pink was the identifying color for baby boys?

Well neither did I!

I just can't see myself in a blue onesie!  The only ones I've ever worn have been pink (blushing).

Frilly Fantasies

My mom taught some classes during the summer when I was younger.  When my two older sisters were too busy with other things like work or some type of summer camp, my aunt would "babysit" me.  I hated the term and mom would usually say something like "She's keeping an eye on you" but occasionally she'd slip, sometimes embarrassing me in front of my sisters or worse, friends, neighbors or cousins of mine.

In the complex mind of a young boy with a penchant for panties and other girly things, the emotions such embarrassment would evoke were incredibly difficult to understand.  As much as I didn't want her to embarrass me, the fantasies it produced in my mind were both pleasant and prominent.

I never got any such gifts from my aunt in real life.  But in my fantasy world, such gifts were plentiful, pretty and always pink!

Hump Day

It's Wednesday of a busy week leading up to Easter.  I have stuff to do, errands to run, deadlines to meet and I'm hoping to get in 9 holes later this afternoon.  The beautiful spring weather is just calling me to get out there with my favorite lady golfer and Diane's friend Linda.

If there was ever a "Hump Day", this is it.  I've been both busy and productive today and I deserve a break.  I think I'll take a short nap.

Makeovers - Getting my Hair Permed

I still blush when I think about it.  My makeovers and dressing session with Florence eventually evolved to my getting my first "perm" and having my hair in old fashioned rollers.  

Florence had a friend called Elaine that she would bring in specifically for requests by clients who wanted a fuller feminization that included having their hair done.  Elaine would charge a significant fee for this service, the amount I would never know because Florence was ever-so-generous with me, no likely charmed by my youthful charm!

Whatever she did charge the men who visited Florence to have their hair done, Elaine did admit to me that she truly enjoyed "being able to feminize men, though not in a kinky sense."  It was evident that very first time she did my hair, even though I was blushing with embarrassment the whole time!

I didn't even want Florence to see my face.  But the next time was a little easier and by the third time Elaine had me in "the chair" it almost felt natural.

Almost, but not quite.  But with my hair a little longer each time and with Elaine becoming more familiar with me and what I might look best in, things became not just easier but far more enjoyable.

I always felt very girly in curlers and the fascination with them has continued to this day.  Yet it has been ages since I've had my hair done that way.

But the most memorable moments of those makeover sessions when I had my hair done was when all was said and done and my hair had been cut, washed, set and dried, Elaine would comb my hair out and let me look into the mirror to see the results...

Those memories will last a lifetime!

Luxury Lingerie - "No"

Diane is very familiar with my taste in feminine fashions and particularly lingerie.  Her familiarity comes from many years together, seeing me dressed so often and also because i require Her permission before i can purchase any female item of clothing, jewelry or accessory.  

The requirement is just one of many things that comes with our Wife Led Marriage.  Some might find it silly or even humiliating but like everything else, with time I've gotten used to it.  Most times I get outright approval, other times She might just suggest a change or even insist on a different style or color of whatever it is I want to buy.  It's not often that I get an outright denial like I did a few days ago.  

The email from Her Room I received that morning featured a Prima Donna Madison Full Cup Bra that I absolutely fell in love with.  I know we all have different tastes but, I hope you can understand why...

The bra was so deliciously feminine enough in and of itself but it also had a matching full brief panty that could be purchased separately...

Even apart they had my undivided attention, imagining how special I'd feel and how pretty I'd look in them.  I couldn't wait to ask Diane for permission even had plans to wear it for Her this past weekend if they arrived in time.  That night at dinner when I brought it up, I asked about the bra first.  

"Let me see it" She said, indicating that I should get my phone or iPad and show it to Her.

Pulling up the email that featured the bra, I tapped on the link and handed Her my phone.

She raised Her eyebrows a bit and smiled, a sure indication that She liked it.  Then there was a slight frown.  

"Hmmm.  I don't think so" She said.  Before I could ask why She admonished me in a rather stern tone.  "Did you really think I'd approve of a bra that costs $130?"

"It's only $99.95" I said.  "It's on sale with 25% off."

"Yeah sure.  A hundred bucks for a bra?  No" She said.  

I had seen the price but I guess I was possibly hoping She wouldn't catch it or maybe really like to see it on me.  She seemed more incredulous than upset, even chuckling a bit.

"So seriously, is that your final answer?" I asked, my voice pleading more than being inquisitive.

"Tell you what" She said.  "Ask your sissy sister Nancywhat's the most she ever spent on a bra.  If she's spent anything even close to that, I'll let you buy it.  Otherwise, it's a no." 

The following morning I sent Nancy a message with my question.  The reply was not unexpected.

I'm very disappointed that I didn't get Diane's permission to buy the bra.

Maybe I should have asked for the panty.  It was only $69.95.

Pretty Pillows

My post on Wednesday (Hump Day) garnered quite a few comments for my humble little blog.  Granted that some of them were mine but nevertheless, it makes a blogger feel good when readers take the time to leave a comment.  

As I was sitting at the kitchen table this morning sipping my coffee, waiting for my hair to set and serve  Mistress Her morning coffee when She awakens, I thought about one of the comments to that post that's been on my mind for several days.  Here's what sissy kaaren had to say about humping herself to sissy orgasms using her favorite pillow:

"Goodness....how many times did me and my best pillow experience bliss together....hearing the sounds of my wife and her lover echo through the hose....it drove me mad!!!

 I had a hunch I wasn't the only sissy to have used a combination of panties and a pillow to "enjoy myself" but it was nice to see someone come forth and admit as much.  My sissy sister nancy chimed in as well confessing that she herself is no stranger to humping.  I have a confession of my own:  I've been made to do it in front of Mistress' Lover Karl, but that's not the focus of this post.  

I've kind of been thinking of the types of pillows that might have made the experience just a little bit more feminine.  Take this one for instance.   Just one of a set of pillows, its pretty pink and white gingham pattern, ruffles and a bow would certainly enhance my experience...

Or how about his oversized double ruffle pillow?  Just picture the fun you could have with all that feminine finery at both ends!
